Display and Configuration
The Motorola Moto G (4th Gen) features a 5-inch IPS LCD HD (720 x 1,280 pixels) display along with a pixel density of 294ppi. The display has been protected by Corning Gorilla Glass v4 to save it from scratches and minor damages. The Moto G 4 has been powered by 1.2GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 MSM8937 processor accompanied by 2GB RAM. The dual SIM handset boots on Android v6.0 (Marshmallow) operating system and also has fingerprint scanner.
Camera and Storage
For imaging, the device packs a 13MP rear camera (UltraPixel BSI image sensor) which can capture pictures up to a resolution of 4,128 x 3,096 pixels and video upto 1,920 x 1,080 @30 fps. The camera is accompanied by autofocus and dual LED Flash that results into a better photography experience. Other camera features include Exposure compensation, ISO control, Continuous Shooting, High Dynamic Range mode (HDR), Digital Zoom, Auto Flash, Digital image stabilization, Face detection and Touch to focus. Selfie lovers can capture decent pictures via the 5MP front camera. In terms of storage, the device houses an internal memory of 16GB which can be further expanded upto a massive 128GB.
Battery, Connectivity and Multimedia
The device is fuelled by 2,650mAh Li-ion battery which supports Quick Charge 3.0, claiming to charge up to 80% of the smartphone's battery in just 45 minutes. For networking and allocation, the device offers a wide range of options such as 4G (supports Indian bands), 3G, 2G, Wi-Fi 802.11, a/b/g/n, Mobile Hotspot, Bluetooth v4.1, GPS with A-GPS, Glonass, NFC and USB. The Wolfson DAC and Dolby ATMOS results excellent audio output, be it via loudspeaker or headphones.
